Molly

Hello! My name is Molly and I am ready to become part of my forever family. I am a female German Shepherd mix. I am about 7 months old and weigh about 30 pounds. My current foster family has four chihuahuas that I LOVE to play with. I love when my foster family have friends over to visit; I enjoy playing with their kids. I am still a puppy and do not know how big I am so I tend to play a little rough with small children.

My foster family found me on their porch in July. I showed up starved with a bad case of mange. I was famished and could barely get around. My foster family welcomed the challenge and spent the last few months caring for me and getting me healthy. They took me to the vet and I am cured of all the parasitic issues I showed up with. The vet has also brought me current on my vaccinations. I love life now and I am full of energy.

I spend most of my time in an outdoor dog run. I have a dog house but I only like to stay in it when it is raining. I do not have a bad chewing habit although I do enjoy a rawhide bone treat sometimes. I like to dig holes to lay in. My foster family takes me out of the dog run for exercise every day. My exercise consists of a mile or two walk on leash or about thirty minutes of running around the large yard. I love when my foster family comes to visit my kennel; I greet them and give them lots of kisses. I have just started working on my obedience training. I walk well on the leash on the left side of my handler and I have learned to sit when my handler stops walking. I do very little barking or whining. 

Now that I am completely healthy, I am ready to meet my forever family. I am going to grow into a very loyal dog. My German Shepherd genes are strong and I am going to be a pretty girl. My forever family will ultimately have a large yard or an active lifestyle that I can be a part of.
